Testing the New DxO ONE 20.2 MP Digital Camera For iPhone and iPad at The California Science Center-San Francisco
I ran across the DxO ONE 20.2 MP Digital Camera…
Dear Shed…why do I have commitment issue’s with you? Why do I do the same saturday routine with you over and over? I walk in, check out your current goods, take a look at your take-out menu, see that the “cafe” seating is full, walk by the coffee bar, take a gander at your cheese selection, then the kitchen items and then mosey on out to a different Healdsburg destination. Is it because you are too complicated or confusing? Is it because I just can’t see what all you have to offer? Or that I feel like you don’t just have eye’s just for me? Is it your good looks that just keep bringing me back, like bee’s to honey? Wait, maybe it’s the menu with salmon mouse and halibut soup that sends me away—or the pre-wrapped sandwiches you have on the counter now? I don’t want to be strangers forever…….can we work this out? I am determined to give you a chance.
It’s no secret that the small town of Healdsburg has changed a lot over the past 10 years. Has it changed for the better? Well, that would be for the individual to decide. I happen to still love it and have adjusted to some of the changes even though I’m not too fond of change.
Their architecture will draw you from far away–it is stunning! White, spacious and clean–Love!
Apparently, the tables placed within the planters are reserved for guests that are dine-in. The picnic tables on the outside are for people who ordered “Take-away.”
They do have a large cheese selection available including a closed off and cooled “cheese room” that you can enter and brouse if you can bear the cold. I saw some farm fresh eggs in their as well.
This section is never too appealing to me. There used to be more of a selection for take-out here but now it seems to be a lot of meat, pickles and more fermented foods. I’m not into the whole fermented thing.
Their flower display is always gorgeous–I always have to have a peek of this.
Again the architecture is amazing and that marble!
They seem to have a lot more fruit and veggies for sale than they used to–have any of you purchased these? I just don’t see myself grocery shopping while out and about lunching on a saturday-haha. However, these would be great for picknicking!
Below is the “cafe” section. You have to wait to be seated–can’t help but think with all the space the shed has to offer wouldn’t you make your indoor eating area a lot bigger?
The kitchen section always entices me. This is a great place for cute gifts to pick up!
About a year ago I saw these gorgeous Jadeite bowls there–they weren’t real jadeite. But as a Jadeite collector, most of my Jadeite stays put in my display cabinet and I thought these would be great to actually use!–haha. Anyways, next time I went in to grab them they were gone but as I was writing this post, I found out they sell a lot of the items they have in-store online! Even the Jadeite bowl set! I’m ordering them now!
Here is a peek at some more cute things they sell on their website.
The hours, address and phone number are below. Click here for their website or the photos above.
I still love the style of the place it’s architecture is captivating, so it’s no surprise that they won the 2014 James Beard Award for restaurant design.
Have you been here? What is your opinion…what is it about this place that never makes we want to stay?
I will give it another chance and I am determined to stay and dine next time!
